UAV training platform
Professional drone simulator for UAV education and training
AIRLAB FPV is a drone simulator used in the browser to train pilots, operators and pilot school students: 19 aircraft that fly with ArduPilot logic, scored work missions, emergency procedures and an AI instructor that reviews every flight.

Training for pilots, operators and schools
One simulator for three ways of working. Everyone flies the same aircraft with the same physics; what changes is what each of them trains.
Pilots
ArduPlane and ArduCopter modes, VTOL transitions, FPV flight and emergencies, with a debrief after landing that tells you what to correct. VTOL simulator.
Operators
Rehearse the job before you get paid for it: inspections with RGB and thermal cameras, photogrammetry, ENAIRE UAS geographical zones and remote operation with a drone-in-a-box. Professional missions.
Schools
Remote instructor from the browser, automatic logbook, courses with a training certificate and phone VR goggles to practise in class. Pilot training.
Simulation of technical operations
Twelve real-world jobs with the aircraft that would really be used and a gimbal camera (4K RGB with ×8 zoom and 640 × 512 thermal). Every attempt is different, is scored out of 100 and ends in a PDF report.
- Wind turbines, a solar plant, a bridge, a dam, a power line, a telecoms tower and the inside of a tank
- An aircraft in a hangar without GPS, in ALT_HOLD or FLOWHOLD, with its damage chart
- Rescue and smouldering embers at night with the thermal camera, and volume measurement of a stockpile
- Operations centre: drone-in-a-box on five services at real sites in Spain

Flight preparation and planning
Before arming, the flight is prepared like a real one: a mission on the map, a check of the UAS geographical zones and a summary of the operation with what each zone would require.
- Mission planner with distance, time and consumption estimates, and export to .waypoints (Mission Planner and QGroundControl)
- Official ENAIRE UAS geographical zones on the map and in 3D, with a mission traffic light and in-flight warnings
- Operation summary: category, authorisations, lead times and a simulated application to practise with
- Real weather from the nearest aerodrome (METAR) and a pre-flight checklist
Training for abnormal situations
What you would rather not practise for the first time with the real aircraft, you practise here, as many times as you need.
System failures
A motor stopping, a jammed tilt servo, airspeed sensor or GPS failure, from the failure menu or set by the remote instructor.
Radio loss and battery
The ArduPlane failsafe chain when the link drops, and BATT_LOW / BATT_CRT with return to home or vertical landing.
Changing weather
Fronts, showers and storms with gust fronts that evolve while you fly; the battery loses voltage in the cold.
Degraded links
LQ and RSSI that drop with distance, and digital or analogue video that cuts out behind an obstacle.
Student assessment, reports and flight logging
Every flight leaves data you can review: what happened, why and how to improve it.
Score and debrief
After landing, a score out of 100 with each point and its correction; with AI, a written analysis and the option to ask questions. AI instructor.
Black box at 20 Hz
Graphs of attitude, motors, battery, sticks and wind, an event list, 3D replay and CSV export.
Logbook
Every flight is logged automatically: aircraft, scenario, time in each mode, landings, transitions and score. Exportable as PDF or CSV.
Mission reports
A PDF with photos, location and classification of each finding, or a service report with the timeline in the operations centre.
Advantages of training in a simulated environment
- Repeat a procedure until you get it right, with no risk to the aircraft or to third parties
- Trigger failures and weather that you cannot choose on a real flight
- Practise missions that are expensive or hard to organise: wind turbines, night rescue, confined spaces
- Measure progress with data: score, events and hours per mode
- Train at any time, from any computer, without travelling to the flying field
What a simulator does not replace
Simulation prepares you, but it does not replace real flight: the feel of the aircraft, assembly and maintenance, the real conditions on site and the responsibility for the operation. Mission data are simulated for practice, and official AESA (Spain's aviation safety agency) training and exams are done through AESA's own channels. A good plan combines both: here you train the procedure and in the field you confirm it.
Work missions, photogrammetry, the operations centre, the remote instructor and certificates are part of the Pro licence; the free trial includes everything in Pro except certificates.
Frequently asked questions about the professional simulator
What is AIRLAB FPV?
A drone simulator that runs in the browser, designed for pilots, operators and schools. It includes 19 aircraft (VTOL, fixed wing, FPV and multirotors) that fly with ArduPilot logic, 12 scored work missions, emergency procedures, planning with ENAIRE UAS geographical zones and an AI instructor, Captain Pitot.
Is it a professional UAV drone simulator?
It is built for professional education and training: inspection, rescue and photogrammetry missions scored out of 100 with a PDF report, an operations centre with a drone-in-a-box, a logbook and failures you can trigger. It is a training tool: it does not certify you or replace official training.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It opens in the browser from your account, in an up-to-date browser with WebGL2. You only need AIRLAB Connector on a Mac to fly with real ArduPilot (SITL).
Can I use my radio transmitter?
Yes. Any EdgeTX or OpenTX radio that works as a USB joystick, in Chrome or Edge. You can also fly with the keyboard or with touch sticks on your phone.
Is it suitable for a school with several students?
Yes. Each student flies with their own account, the instructor can join remotely from their browser and every flight is recorded in the logbook. If you need several seats, say so in the licence request.
How much does it cost?
Base licence €1,200 + VAT and Pro licence €2,000 + VAT, as a one-off payment with no subscription. You can try it first for 30 minutes free, with everything in Pro.
