Free tool · ENAIRE UAS geographical zones
Where can I fly my drone in Spain? UAS zones map
Search for a place or click on the map and check instantly whether there are UAS geographical zones: aerodromes, controlled airspace, prohibited or restricted areas, critical infrastructure, railways and urban areas, with their limits, who to notify and how far in advance.
Zoom in to see the zones, or click any point to check it.
What the map tells you
Traffic light for the point
Green if there are no ENAIRE UAS zones, amber if flying is possible with conditions, coordination or permission, and red if it is prohibited or needs express authorisation.
Each zone, with its details
Zone type, height limits, restriction, manager contact (email, phone, website), notice or authorisation lead time and the official ENAIRE message.
Live data
When you check a point the zones are requested from ENAIRE at that moment; if it does not respond, the data included in the website is used, with its date.
Urban areas and environment
Reminder of the notice to the Ministry of the Interior in urban areas and that environmental zones must be checked in ENAIRE Drones.
AIRLAB FPV is not affiliated with ENAIRE or AESA. The zone data is the data published by ENAIRE (servAIS service and AIP); checking the regulations and authorisations before every flight is the responsibility of the pilot and the operator.
Questions
Where does the data come from?
From the UAS geographical zones published by ENAIRE (aeronautical, infrastructure and urban). When you check a point they are requested live from its servAIS service; the map is drawn from a copy included in the website, updated periodically.
Does it replace ENAIRE Drones?
No. It is a guidance tool to understand the zones and prepare the operation. Before flying always check ENAIRE Drones and the NOTAMs, which also include environmental zones and temporary restrictions.
What does the traffic light mean?
Red: prohibited zone or one that needs express authorisation. Amber: flying is possible with conditions, coordination or permission from the manager. Green: there are no ENAIRE UAS zones at that point and the general rules of the category you fly in apply.
What about zones that start very high?
Zones whose lower limit is above 120 m above ground are not drawn or counted in the traffic light, because the open category does not allow flying above 120 m; they are still listed in the point details.
Can I practise the operation?
Yes. The AIRLAB FPV simulator loads these same zones into the mission planner and in flight, warns you when you enter them and prepares the authorisation summary and a simulated request to ENAIRE.
